  • Overview

    Optimize maintenance performance by continually striving to reduce downtime through proactive planning. Assist with the development of reliability based maintenance strategy, based on preventative, predictive, and condition monitoring maintenance.

    Responsibilities

    • Planning and coordinating maintenance jobs and projects
    • Develop preventative maintenance programs for all stationary and mobile plant equipment
    • Ensure predictive and preventative maintenance is planned and ready to schedule
    • Review all new work order requests in EAM and assign correct work order status
    • Actively support plant safety, environmental and reliability programs
    • When planning work orders, ensure all parts are kitted and staged with all necessary prints
    • Work with Purchasing to establish proper stocking levels and reorder points for material
    • Establish a bill of materials for all new equipment
    • Enter all completed work orders, employee time, and parts used into the sites asset management program
    • Work with engineering personnel to establish new equipment numbers and record equipment specifications
    • Lead daily planning meeting with Production and Maintenance to ensure the planned jobs scheduled are being executed
    • Review equipment spare part requirements
    • Assist other maintenance personnel with equipment repairs and research
    • Coordinate with contractors and vendors
    • Other duties as required to meet business demands

    Qualifications

    • High School degree required; post-secondary education or technical degree a plus.
    • One to two years experience in Maintenance Planning; three to five years experience in Planning experience is a plus.
    • Strong background in maintenance with the ability to read and interpret documents and drawings.
    • Advanced knowledge of computer operation with the ability to work with Microsoft Office Suite, EAM/CMMS and MLC software applications.
    • The physical ability to work in extreme heat and cold, navigate steps and ladders at high elevations.
    • The ability to independently solve problems, direct and train others.
    • The ability to direct one’s own work without supervision. Able to travel for training and company related needs.
