  • Overview

    Responsible for providing support and data entry services for all areas of Human Resources.

    Responsibilities

    • Maintains active and inactive employee records including filing for all hourly employees.
    • Various data entry including but not limited to new hire, grievances, discipline, employee records in the HR system.
    • Prepares and distributes various correspondences from the Department.
    • Tracks data in various systems.
    • Generates and distributes reports.
    • Processes new hire information and correspondence.
    • Maintains training records.
    • Assists with updating hourly Employee Handbook Supplement and Labor Contract.
    • Schedules meetings, interviews and training activities.
    • Administers Service Award Program for Ste. Genevieve.
    • Plans and coordinates special events led by HR.
    • Assist with Labor Relations meeting minutes, prepare and distribute.
    • Respond to all employment verifications.
    • Track, request reimbursements/bonuses for interview candidates, driver referrals, relocations etc.
    • Process invoices.
    • Support and scheduling for the HR Team when needed including but not limited to recruiting travel for all locations.
    • Maintain DOT files to ensure compliance. 
    • Assist with front desk coverage and badge support.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field preferred or High School Diploma with five plus years in Human Resources required.
    • Exceptional computer skills in Microsoft Suite including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint required.
    • Experience in working with third-party service bureau payroll systems strongly preferred (ADP, Ceridian, etc.). 
    • Proven ability to effectively handle highly sensitive information in a confidential and professional manner. 
    • Strong team orientation with excellent interpersonal and communication skills required.
